Belonging to the Lieutenant Nakano Yuzuru 中野遜 (1918-1940), He died in an air combat training in Beppu Bay at 12:40 July 3rd, 1940. His plane crashed with Sub-lieutenant 佐藤正夫 Satou Masao's plane, but Satou Masao survived.  He was promoted to lieutenant after his death.
